PCL RULES -EVERYONE MUST FOLLOW THE FOLLOWING:

PATERSON CRICKET LEAGUE (PCL)

 

The competition shall be called "Paterson Cricket League".

The control of the league shall be undertaken by an elected committee consisting of the following: RatulAfjolTanim,Parbez, Saki, MD.

Each team has to pay entry fee which is $100.

Each innings will be for a maximum of 16 overs.

All games will be played in Garrett Mountain.

A team can have only 15 men in their squad.

All games will be played by tape ball.

The officiating umpire's decision and report is final.

If any player goes against the umpire's decision, an action will be taken against that person by committee members.

Every team will meet 2 times with each other.

Winner team will receive 2 points. There are no points for losing team.

If there is a tie, points will be divided evenly among the tied teams.

If rain stops any game then the points will be shared between two teams.

At the end of the season if teams have the same points, NRR will be counted for them.

At the end of the season the top two teams with the highest points goes to the final.

A team needs to have a maximum of 9 players on the field at the time of the first ball in an innings being delivered.

The 9 can be comprised of substitutes if necessary.

Anyone can bowl, within the playing 9, except the substitute fielders.

Each bowler can bowl a maximum of 4 overs.

If a fielder catches the ball but it's coming from tress, leaves the batsman will not be given out.

We will observe the highest standards of sportsmanship, behavior and dress on and off the field in keeping with the dignity and best traditions of the game. NO SANDALS ARE ALLOWED, NO SHORT PANTS ARE ALLOWED.

We will not accept intimidation, aggressive behavior and deliberate distraction.

We will not accept dissent shown towards umpire's decisions.

We shall ensure all players and officials are acquainted with this code.
